Colon Power Project<\/b><\/h3>\r\n

The first natural gas power plant in Panama and Central America, with an investment of 1.2 billion USD, which will use combined cycle technology for its efficiency and contribution to the environment. It reuses the heat from the exhaust gas of the gas turbines to obtain steam, which is then used by a steam turbine and to save fuel consumption in electricity production. This power plant will be 50% more efficient and require one third less water than conventional plants.<\/p>\r\n
