OUR PROJECTS

Colombo Shopping Centre

Key data

Opened on 15 September 1997.

The architecture of the space, as well as its original decoration, had as its theme the Age of Discovery, one of the most important periods in the history of Portugal. The squares and hallways inside the shopping centres have names alluding to the Elizabethan era, such as “Avenue of the Discoveries” and “Square Tropic of Cancer”. Since 2007 and 2009, the shopping centre has renovated its interior design completely, combining contemporary concepts with the originals.

This shopping centre has been designed with environmental concerns in mind, and, therefore, has implemented several policies for energy saving, waste recycling and others.
