Paris Metro – Line 14

Key data

The Ferralia Group supplied the steel for the Metro Line 14 SUD GC 01 project, and supplied, manufactured and installed the steel for the SUD GC 03 zone of the same line 14. Said metro line is part of the Grand Paris Express project, which is carrying out various works to expand the Paris metro and the construction works are due to last until 2030, in which it is expected to construct 205 km of automated metro lines, dispersed over 72 stations.

Specifically, Line 14 will be extended northwards in two phases to Saint-Denis Pleyel, and there will also be an extension to the south, which will end at Orly Airport.

Indeed in 2018, it is scheduled to adapt its infrastructures to the influx of passengers, which will gradually increase. In 2019, Line 14 will reach Mairie de Saint-Ouen and, in the period from 2019 to 2021, the fleet of latest-generation trains will be increased, with a total of 8 carriages. Finally, in 2023, the line will be completed and will run from St-Denis Pleyel to Orly.
