OUR PROJECTS
M30 Madrid Underground Motorway. Prague bridge section
Key data
The M-30 is an urban ring road in Madrid, with characteristics similar to those of a multi-lane interurban road. It is 32.5 km long with an average radius of 5.17 km from the Puerta del Sol and an average traffic intensity of 304,423 vehicles per day, making it the busiest road in Spain.
The project consisted of several actions and modifications to the M-30 along its entire length, among which the tunnelling of the road along the banks of the Manzanares River and the construction of the “South by-pass”, in which the two largest tunnel boring machines in the world (Dulcinea and Tizona) were used, were particularly significant.
