Expansion of gas tanks – Las Minas Bay Terminal

Key data

The new terminal will be located next to the existing 509,000 mbc (thousand barrels of crude oil) Chevron terminal in Panama. It will have nine storage tanks for marine fuel, fuel oil and clean oil products (diesel, gasoline and Jet A) with a total capacity of approximately 360,000 m3.

The project comprises, in addition to the new tank, the ancillary maritime infrastructure, including the construction of jetties for the berthing of vessels of up to 80,000 DWT (deadweight tonnage).
