Paris Metro – Line 16

The Ferralia Group supplies, undertaking an industrial pre-assembly, the entire screen system for Batch 2 of the new Paris Metro Line 16.

The Société du Grand Paris is constructing a fully automated metro system, consisting of the incorporation of four lines (L15, 16, 17, 18) which will bypass Paris, whilst extending certain existing lines. Two hundred (200) kilometres, an investment of 25 billion Euros, the project of unprecedented scale for the capital.

The twenty-eight (28) kilometres of Line 16 will facilitate access to the east of Ile-de-France and serve ten new railway stations. Ten (10) billion Euros has been invested in the construction of both Lines 15 and 16. By the end of 2016, nearly 3 billion Euros in contracts will have been received.
